Ok so my scythe is coming along. I layered paper mache over it again. My uncle, goddess bless, is a genius at fixing things with odd materials.(He once fixed my car muffler with a six pack of beer.note: he drank the whole six pack and then proceeded to the repairs.) He split my pvc pipe and wedged the scythe blade into the split then used wire from a coathanger to hold the whole thing together by drilling it through the pipe and foam. The paper mache covers the whole thing so it looks smooth...more or less ^.^ Once its dry I'll flip the scythe so I can get the spots I missed in the back. I'm very hopeful right now.
All I have left is a final on Monday, a paper due Monday Imma work on now and tomorrow. I need to finish Daniel the kitty's wings and collar with bell. (I'll post a picture of him completed when i'm done.) I need to go visit the friend who is modifying the dress I found for my costume so she and I can work on the final bits. The scythe needs just a bit more paper mache then some layers o glue over the whole thing and then the paint last. Oh and I need to get everyone who is going with me organized so we all meet at the same time and have everything we need.
